If you receive a text, press "Close" as soon as you can.

Q:  Fitnio didn't track my run/bike/walk! What happened?
A:  Another program or app may have interrupted Fitnio's GPS tracking. See above for how to avoid this in the future.

You may have also locked your iPhone by hitting the "Sleep/Wake" button on the top right of the iPhone. Pressing the "Sleep/Wake" button interrupts GPS service so be careful when handling your iPhone during your run.

Q:  How does Fitnio calculate calories?
A:  Fitnio uses detailed formulas to calculates calories with respect to your height, weight, speed, distance covered, and terrain. To insure this data is accurate please set your height and weight by going to Settings > Basic Info. If you don't set a height and weight, Fitnio defaults to 5'7" and 150 pounds.

Q:  How long does it take for Fitnio to sync with GPS?
A:  It usually takes less than 30 seconds. We recommend you start the Fitnio app as soon as you step outside and find a nice spot in plain view of the sky to stretch a bit before your run or ride. This way the iPhone can acquire GPS signal and be ready for you to start exercising.
